Dive Sites
Shore Dives & Boat Dives
Guided dives are available for both shore dives, where we enter the dive site from the waters edge and boat dives, where we need to use a boat to get to the dive site.
The Cavo Greko Area located between Protaras and Ayia Napa is home to the best collection of dive sites in Cyprus. Most of the shore dives listed are within the Cavo Greko Area and are visited from dive centres as far away as Limassol and Paphos.

Green Bay
Shore Dive - Shake out/Training Site
Green Bay is the main training site for most dive centres in the local area. With its swimming pool like conditions it offers the best circumstances for both “check dives” and the “Discover Scuba Diving Experience”.
Open Water Divers Courses are also started here before moving onto deeper sites. The “fish rock” and the “statues” are ideal opportunities to get some great photo and video coverage of your dive here.
Max Depth 10m

Green Bay - East
Shore Dive
Green Bay - East is a dive which takes you further a field than the Green Bay dive. Reaching depths of 18m on this route allows you to explore the reef to the East of the “statues” visited on the Green Bay Dive. Small caves, under water ravines and grassy plains can be seen before reaching the sandy bottom.
This dive site provides a very good alternative dive site id the Greko sites are not diveable due to sea conditions

De Costa Bay
Shore Dive
De Costa Bay is a dive site offering
an easy entry from the secluded beach.
sea horses and turtles have been seen here frequently in the past as they feed on the grassy bottom.
With a maximum depth of 15m it is an ideal site for all levels of divers.

Paramount
Shore Dive
This the closest dive site in the Cavo Greko Area to Protaras where there is two small reefs that run parallel to the shore line at around 9m and 12m. Maximum depth can be 20m but there is little to see once you leave the reefs

Konnos Point/Cyclops Cave
Shore Dive
This is the most popular of the dive sites in the Cape Greko area and is a site that offers something to everyone from snorkelers, novice divers to experienced technical divers. Once in the clear blue waters you will not be disappointed. Visibility being 20m you can get clear views of the marine life in the area. The site can be used to carry out enhanced diver training as it offers a rock platform from 4m to 9m and depths of 50m+ can be reached. Two separate dives can be completed from the same entry point.

The Chapel
Shore Dive
The Chapel dive site offers 2 different dives with similar marine life but different topography. Aptly named because of the White chapel built on the top of the cliffs at Cape Greko. Divers don their equipment outside the chapel then follow the steps down to the entry point. The dive can be between 15 and 30 metres depending on the objective of the dive. Very popular site for divers & snorkelers and is visited by numerous party boats.

Tunnels & Caves
Shore Dive
This is truly a fantastic dive passing through underwater caverns and caves. All caves have entry and exit points along with plenty of light, (No extra training or torches are necessary). Witness the rocks “breathing” as the air from inside the caves escapes on its way to the surface. Just follow the instructions of our dive guide and you will have an awesome experience.
The maximum depth is 12m and the exit through the hidden cave to the “Blow Hole”

The Canyon
Shore Dive
Wall Dive & Reef Dive
The Canyon is named because of the shape of the entry area within the cliff formations of Cape Greko.
Once out of the canyon, you can either turn left and carry out a wall dive along the cliff face, or turn right and head towards the reef located at around a depth of 15m.
Two separate dives can be carried out at this site.

Liberty & Nemesis Wrecks
Boat Dive
Normally the two wrecks are dived as "One dive" because the Liberty itself does not justify a "full cylinder dive". So after spending 5 minutes on the Liberty you will locate the Nemesis III along a bearing of 140 degrees where the boat will be moored off and awaiting our ascent after investigating the Trawler.
Liberty
The “Liberty” is a Russian cargo ship that was scuttled in May 2009 as part of the islands artificial reefs project.
It has a length of 37m, a width of 7m and lies in 27m of water. This wreck is the perfect platform for wreck diving training as all the doors and hatches were removed to ensure safety. It offer some penetration and swim throughs providing necessary area’s for students to learn the use of reels in dark confined area’s.
Nemesis III
The Bottom Trawler Nemesis III was built in France In 1956 and was previously named “Thalia” It was brought to Cyprus in 1987 where it operated in The Eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea as well as
Libyan waters. The vessel was scuttled on 20th December 2013. With a length of 24.5m and a breadth of 6.3m It lies upright at a depth of 23m.

Artificial Reef
Boat Dive
The artificial reef has been located in the same area of the Nemesis and Liberty wrecks in an attempt to repopulate the area area with marine life. A number of different structures were assembled underwater to try and attract the marine life.

Octopus Reef
Boat Dive
Octopus Reef is an Open Water reef between 23m - 28m so it is better to use an EANx mix to make the most of your bottom time for this dive. Although the reef is know as Octopus Reef, the reef has been inundated with Lion Fish, either way its a very interesting reef to dive. On completion of your bottom time, a DSMB will be deployed marking the location of your ascent and safety stop so the boat can come and collect you.

Patrol Boat Kyrenia
Boat Dive
The Kyrenia a former patrol boat was scuttled on the 28th February 2015 as part of the artificial reef program promoted by the Cyprus Dive Centre Assosiation and the Cyprus Fisheries Department. Located a short boat trip outside Ayia Napa the Kyrenia lies upright in 23m of water.

HMS Cricket
Boat Dive
The HMS Cricket is located near Xylophagou, Larnaca at a maximum depth of 30m but was known as the unknown wreck for many years. This dive is an opportunity to explore an old British battleship that rests upside down on the seabed at 27 metres.
This World War Two gunboat survived the wars. It was anchored in Larnaca Bay Cyprus and used for a target practice by the RAF but sank in 1947 due to bad weather.
There is a sandy dip under the wreck where a previous expedition spent a few days removing the sand to try and identify the wreck. Divers can swim inside the hull through escape hatches and underneath the wreck.
Wreck History - HMS Cricket Wreck Cyprus, was one of ten Aphis Class (Large China) Gunboats constructed during the First World War to counter Austro-Hungarian monitors on the River Danube. Due to be scrapped in 1939, her life was extended by the outbreak of the Second World War.

M/V Elpida
Boat Dive
The M/V Elpida was suitably prepared by the Fisheries Department to be sunk off the coast of Voroklini with the aim to enrich marine biodiversity and cement Larnaca’s status as a top diving destination worldwide.
Elpida (which means ‘hope’) is a commercial vessel from Greece that is 63 metres long and was sunk to a depth of 28 metres.
It is anticipated that marine life will flourish soon after the establishment of the reef, adding to Larnaca’s existing dive propositions that includes the world-renowned Zenobia wreck dive, one of the top 10 dive sites in the world.

Zenobia Wreck
Boat Dive
The Zenobia has been classed as one of the top ten wrecks in the world. The Zenobia sunk in June 1980 after having problems with the Computerised ballast system on her maiden voyage. At 165m long, depths range from 18m (starboard side) to 42m (port side) and the wreck is still fully laden with 104 articulated lorry’s & the Captains car. The life boats were still in position until dislodged by stormy weather in 2018 but there was no loss of life due to the sinking.
